Up to 200 CSV rows per import. Dates and container quantities are validated; matching business references update existing records.
View schedules beside targets
The original ETA, current ETA, and delivery target appear together. Tasks and evidence stay linked to the shipment.
Users enter schedule data. Routes and maps are illustrative; there is no real-time tracking.Bring the core facts together
03 / 15Schedule evidence02 — EVIDENCE
Keep evidence for every update
Record the ETA, vessel name, source, and receipt time provided by a partner, so the team can see the basis for each decision.
Oct 03 · New schedule
ETA updated to Oct 09
Source: forwarder email · Vessel: PACIFIC HORIZON
Oct 01 · Previous record
ETA still Oct 06
The earlier evidence for this shipment remains available for review.
Added later · Historical email from Sep 30
Historical evidence added; current ETA unchanged
An earlier received record does not overwrite a newer schedule status.
Facts have sourcesUpdate status while preserving history
New evidence can update the current status; backfilled history explains what happened. Duplicate events are blocked.

04 / 15Exception collaboration03 — TASKS
Assign exceptions and record the outcome
Turn delay signals into clear tasks: who owns them, when they are due, what is pending, and how they are resolved.
01 / Identify risk
Rule triggeredETA delayed by 72 hours
Compare the original schedule and delivery target, and check whether the information is stale.
ETA thresholdExample: 48 hours
Delivery toleranceAdmin configurable
Rules recalculate when data changes; schedules are not polled in the background.
02 / Assign and advance
Owner + due dateOne task, one context
A task stays linked to its shipment, with collaboration comments kept in the same place.
OwnerOperations member
Current statusWaiting for partner
To do → Acknowledged → In progress
Waiting for partner → Resolved
03 / Close with a record
Record the resolution,
then close the task.
Closing a task requires a resolution record. If risk worsens, the same task reopens and keeps its prior handling history.
The latest 100 comments are retained per task. The resolution record helps the next team member understand the outcome.
Stable task IDs prevent duplicate tasks for the same risk; history supports review.Follow exceptions through to resolution
05 / 15Manually entered quotes04 — QUOTES
Calculate known costs; flag missing items
The team enters quotes manually and checks currency, per-container charges, cost coverage, and validity. Missing charges are never treated as zero.
Complete costs / Illustrative example
USD · per containerOcean freight3,400.00
Origin port charges245.00
Destination port charges520.00
Surcharges180.00
4,345.00 USD / container
3 containers · Full shipment total13,035.00 USD
Amounts are calculated in integer minor currency units (cents or pence). USD, CNY, EUR, and GBP are supported, with no automatic currency conversion. The total excludes duties, storage, and last-mile transport; confirm identical cost coverage before comparing quotes.
Incomplete quoteDestination port charges unconfirmed
Pending confirmation ≠ 0.00
Known charges are retained, but no complete total is generated and the quote cannot enter a booking draft.
Expired quotes also cannot be submitted or approved. Quotes come from users; the system does not generate market rates.
Complete fields make calculation possible; actual charges and conditions still need to be checked against the partner's quote receipt.Comparable quotes require verifiable charges
06 / 15Booking approval05 — APPROVAL
Approval applies to a specific version
The quote is checked when a draft is submitted, and a snapshot is retained on approval. Material changes invalidate that approval and require another review.

Changes to container quantity or similar parameters return the booking to draft. Before handoff, check quote validity and the approval snapshot again.

07 / 15End-to-end workflow06 — HANDOFF
Hand off manually; confirm by receipt
The workspace records collaboration and confirmation evidence. The team contacts partners to make the actual booking.

The system does not book, change sailings, or pay automatically. “Confirmed” means the team recorded an external confirmation receipt.Every step has an accountable owner
08 / 15AI evidence assistant07 — GPT-5
Ground assistant answers in evidence
After sign-in, GPT-5 via Netlify analyzes shipments and tasks the user is allowed to access. Answers can be checked against workspace evidence.
Why does this shipment need priority attention?
The current ETA is 2 days later than the delivery target and 72 hours later than the original ETA.
First confirm the latest schedule with the forwarder, then check destination container pickup and the task receipt.

This example shows the answer format. AI conclusions still require human review.
Usage limits after sign-in
100
calls / entire site / dayReads up to 20 authorized shipments and 40 tasks.
Does not read quote amounts, search external live data, or perform actions.
Analysis mode is clearly shown
The anonymous demo uses rules. Platform failure or timeout is shown as a fallback. At the app's usage limit, users are asked to try again the next day.
The interface labels the analysis mode so rule-based results and AI answers can be distinguished.
Model calls run server-side through the Netlify platform gateway and reference workspace data and evidence.Answers have context; people verify decisions
09 / 15Accounts and permissions08 — WORKSPACES
Team collaboration with defined roles
Operations members submit, approvers review, and suppliers reply to their assigned tasks. Workspaces are private and permissions are checked server-side.
AdministratorManages the workspace, exception rules, invitations and membership revocation, and handles operations and approvals.
Operations memberEnters shipments and evidence, handles tasks and manually entered quotes, submits drafts, and records receipts.
Approval memberReviews others' pending bookings, approves them, or provides a rejection reason.
SupplierCan view only assigned tasks and linked shipments and reply to tasks; has no quote or booking access.
Private workspace
Signed-in data is stored in Netlify Database. The anonymous demo uses synthetic data in the current browser.
Member and account management
Invite or revoke members, change passwords, and delete the workspace. The pilot allows up to 30 members per workspace.

10 / 15Data and audit09 — PORTABILITY
Export data within clear retention limits
Basic shipment fields can be imported and exported as CSV. Pilot records retain a defined recent window.

11 / 15Current scope10 — PILOT SCOPE
Define the current scope clearly
This working pilot addresses real collaboration needs. Every claim should match the actual data source and execution method.
DATA / Sources
Entered by people,
based on current evidence.
Users enter shipments, schedules, and quotes. There are no carrier, real-time tracking, ERP, warehouse, or Flexport execution API integrations.
EXECUTION / Operations
Approvals are traceable;
people carry out operations.
The system manages drafts, approvals, and receipts. The team contacts partners through existing channels and records the external confirmation number after verification.
SERVICE / Pilot
Validate the workflow first,
then expand integrations.
Small teams can run a pilot in a private workspace. SSO, billing, password recovery, scheduled polling, and an enterprise SLA are not currently available.
Kunfreight draws on logistics collaboration concepts. It is an independent product with no Flexport execution connection.Clear scope supports sound decisions
12 / 15Shared rate libraryPDF → REVIEW → PUBLISH
A source for every rate
Pricing uploads a German postcode rate PDF. CS checks all source text, zones, weight bands, and port charges, then confirms quote parameters before publishing.
Pricing / Upload
Upload a text-based PDF to extract postcode ranges, weight-based rates, charges, and terms. The original file and page-by-page source text are retained, and parsing errors are clearly reported.
Source page traceableCS / Review
Edit a new version and add ocean freight, destination port charges, exchange rates, and validity. Publishing, rejection, history review, and deletion are recorded.
Version snapshot retainedSales / Shared access
Published rates are shared with all registered users who have query access. Drafts awaiting review are excluded from queries. An administrator sets user groups through a dropdown.
Permissions enforced server-side
The current parser targets the supplied Shipco German text-based PDF format. Other formats or scanned files are flagged as unsupported.Only reviewed rates enter queries
13 / 15Sales search and quotingPOSTCODE → QUOTE → XLSX
From an address to a verifiable cost sheet
Enter a German postcode, actual weight, and volume to create an online quote based on the Excel layout and download a new Excel file.
Start with a postcode or coordinates
Coordinates return nearby postcode candidates. Pricing starts after the user confirms a postcode. German pickup chargeable weight and ocean freight W/M are calculated separately; dangerous-goods status and whether the Yangshan surcharge applies require explicit selection.
Coordinate matching uses GeoNames' estimated centroids, not postcode boundaries. Confirm the full address before use.
Online table + Excel download
Each line shows currency, unit price, unit, quantity, amount, and RMB conversion, alongside the approved version, validity, and source. The server rechecks publication status before download.
Missing charge / exchange rate → Partial quoteMissing items are marked pending confirmation. Historical zero ocean rates or old exchange rates are never treated automatically as current quotes.
Amounts use fixed precision and explicit rounding rules. CS confirms parameters absent from the PDF.The same version produces the same result
14 / 15Carrier trackingAIR 20 · OCEAN 10
30 carriers, one entry point
Official tracking entry points for the top 20 cargo airlines and the top 10 container lines, opening on the carrier's own site.
Official pages only
Ranked by 2024 scheduled cargo tonne-kilometres (IATA WATS) and Alphaliner operated capacity. Every link was checked with a real HTTP request; any that could not be confirmed states the concrete reason.
No third-party aggregators, and no unverified deep-link templates.
Copy the reference, paste it on the carrier site
Paste an AWB, container or B/L number and press the button: the number goes to your clipboard and the carrier's tracking page opens in a new tab.
